Réseau thématique TIC & Environnement (RT8)

Annual meeting of the ICT & Environment network

Our second annual meeting has focused on ICT and climate change research.

We welcomed a delegation of the IEEE: director of IEEE’s « Signals and Applications » division, representatives from 7 IEEE societies (Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, Information Theory Society, Intelligent Transportation Systems Society, Oceanic Engineering Society, Signal Processing Society, Vehicular Technology Society), and colleagues from IEEE’s Global Earth Observation community.

Besides, in addition to colleagues from industry (Orange Business Services, Alcatel-Lucent), we also welcomed Sébastien Denvil (IPSL-CNRS), who contributed to the latest IPCC report.
